Note: this article is NOT about the True Price of Indie Games.
There are about 164 overworld areas in The Real Texas, but a lot of those aren't used in the final game. So let's say there are more like around 100, that's a conservative estimate and also helps take into account the water, rocks or other landmass that isn't accessible.

Each square in the game is about 3ft in diameter, and each area is 50 x 50 squares. So let's round this out to 3 x 3 = 9 which is almost 10, and 50 x 50 = 2500 which means each overworld area is around 25000 sq ft.
@p
Multiply this by the number of overworld areas and The Real Texas is about 2,500,000 sq ft -- and of course this doesn't include dungeons which are just as large.

1 acre = 43560 sq ft, so The Real Texas is about 57 acres.
A quick search on LandWatch.com for rural Texas property suggests that maybe $1000 / acre would be very cheap for buying land. We're not talking Austin here, but maybe some backwoods muskeg if they have that and if I even know what the heck I'm talking about (not likely.)
@p
So just in terms of acreage, The Real Texas really ought to sell for about $57,000 per copy.
Today it's on GOG.com as part of an Indie RPG bundle for $3.74 which is a savings of 99.99343%
