For most of the early part of 2024, and into summer, I used the SMC Takumar 35mm f3.5. I really enjoy using this lens.

I also started to use a new colour profile and made some general improvements to Septanon, which is my photo editor. I feel the pinks were much too strong with the old colour profile and besides I just want to try something different. Obviously a lot more blue/green and a little more washed out. For better or worse and with more or less success Septanon tries to render raw files as though they were on film. The colour profiles are obtained by adjusting sensitivities and other properties of imagined film layers. And beyond that I'm happy to allow the resulting colours to be tinted/&c.

I see film photographers on instagram a lot and I do like the look of film. I don't really think this is achieving it but it is a fast way for me to edit photos and I do like the colours, anyways.
