Riding the bus to the start of this hike is itself an exciting experience. Steep switchbacks through a beautiful community takes you from Waikiki to just a short block from the park. We didn't try to do very much of the hike itself, but did see some other people returning covered in mud and scrapes-- but also an older, experienced gentleman who seemed like he comfortably walked a short loop.
The park itself is beautiful and there are unusual evergreen trees.
Shot on the EFS 24mm f/2.8, even though most of my holiday pictures were on the SMC Pentax 28mm F/2.8. It's nice to have some pictures in focus.
