Sagely Elephant

"Congratulations, my friend. You have found the weak point of the great Snake and slain it.

"Really, he wasn't such a bad chap. Not quite so bad as Godzilla, over there. But, he did tend to kill an awful lot of people nontheless. I guess it's his aura of confusion.

"Well, I could pat you on the back but I won't. You killed something."

Rending Your Flesh

The beast sees you!

MOUNCH, MOUNCH! RIP! TEAR!

(Owch! That hurts...)

Now the beast is very close. You can feel it's hot breath on you, and hear it's hoarse breathing.

How did such a prehistoric thing come to live in this courtyard?

The beast has not yet seen you. If you go quietly, you can probably still get away.

You creep closer to the beast, hoping he will not notice you.

Run away before you can't run anymore.

The Elephant leans in at you, and sticks his truck up to your ear. It tickles a little, and a small amount of mucous drips.

He Tells You A Secret

"You can't kill the Godzilla. He will eat you every time. You should understand this already, it's antithetical that you should be able to.

"But you can kill the Snake. You have to hit him where it hurts. I'll give you a hint: his beard is a bit sore sometimes, or so I hear him complain."

Somehow, you stumble away from the terrible creature. When you catch your breath, and the power of it's confusion aura wears off, you find yourself in the presence of a sagely elephant.

The Elephant Says

"Ah, you must have run into the snake. Let me help you out.

"Come closer and I will tell you a secret."

Death is final, but only in the context of the labyrinth itself. Thus, you can start over.

You are fully under the beast's power now. You gaze up at it's powerful form, involuntarily prostrate before it's mighty bulk.

All at once, in your final moment, you learn the terror of true worship.

The snake leers directly at you, and hisses. HISS!

Acid spews forth from the beasts terrifying maw, and it's eyes glow black-hot like two coal-dust covered singularities.
