This is what your body was made for

This is what your body was made for
To rise up and tip down your legs to the floor
When the sun warms your back as it shines on your wall,
as it lights on your door.

Your youthful energy is menacing strong
Strike bravely your enemies that outreach along
For the old had their chance and now it is yours,
so sing completely your violent song.

Don't lie in easy peace by the prime of your being
Never suffer to hide or resign only to seeing
If you succumb to the lull of your days you'll soon find them over
and make your protests only fitful bleating.

For some gland slowly cancers you every night
To see lifeforce and romance in more mundane a light
Now you can't see it happening or feel it's affect,
but if it takes these from you then how will you fight?
